May 2026 Collections: Doodle Tattoos, Spring Highlights & Walk-Ins at Seoul Ink
Every month, our artists at Seoul Ink Tattoo produce work across a wide range of styles — from small personal pieces to large-scale custom projects. May 2026 was no different. This post covers three categories: our Doodle Collection, spring portfolio highlights, and the latest walk-in tattoos completed at our Apgujeong studio in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea.
Whether you're researching your first tattoo in Seoul, looking for a same-day walk-in, or exploring the kind of work our resident artists produce, this collection gives a direct look at what's been done recently.
Doodle Tattoo Collection — Seoul, 2026
What is a doodle tattoo? Doodle tattoos are intentionally minimal — loose linework, simple compositions, and a handdrawn quality that reads as personal rather than decorative. They sit somewhere between fine line tattoos and illustrative work, without the density of either.
Not every tattoo needs to be a statement piece. Some of the most lasting work is quiet. The doodle collection we've built at Seoul Ink reflects that: designs that hold specific meaning for the person wearing them, without relying on size or complexity to communicate it.
This collection spans a variety of placements — shoulder blades, arms — and includes both standalone motifs and small groupings. Common themes include simple character figures, organic shapes, and personal references rendered in clean, minimal linework.
Spring 2026 Portfolio Update — Resident Artist Highlights
Spring is a natural point for renewal, and several of our resident artists completed significant pieces this season. The spring portfolio update covers large-format and technically complex work — the kind of projects that take dedicated time for consultation and hours to complete.
Walk-In Tattoos at Seoul Ink Tattoo— Same-Day Availability in Gangnam
The May walk-in collection shows a range of what clients have come in for recently: small traditional Korean motifs on forearms, simple Korean script characters, and delicate line drawings on hands and ankles. These are personal pieces, not flash sheets — each one was created specifically for the person who came in.
WALK-IN FAQ
Can I walk in to Seoul Ink Tattoo without a booking?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome daily from 10:00 to 20:00, subject to artist availability. Same-day walk-in tattoos are a regular part of how we operate — the May collection includes pieces completed entirely on the day the client walked in.
How much does a small or doodle tattoo cost at Seoul Ink?
Small tattoos start from ₩200,000 before VAT. Final pricing depends on design complexity, placement, and session length. Card payments are subject to 10% VAT; cash is accepted without surcharge.
How long does a walk-in tattoo take?
Most walk-in pieces are completed in one to three hours. Doodle-style and mini tattoos typically run one to two hours. Your artist will give you a time estimate during the brief consultation before starting.
What styles are available for walk-in clients?
Walk-in availability varies by day and artist schedule. Common walk-in styles include fine line, doodle, minimalist, micro realism, and small blackwork. For specific styles or artists, booking a consultation in advance is recommended.
